New York, NY – In a landscape dominated by male talk show hosts, Sip N Chat seeks to offer an alternative. A Funny and educational lively talk show, Sip N Chat pulls together women of varied talents and age groups to discuss the daily issues and interview celebrity guests.

A daytime morning chat fest, Sip N Chat features a team of dynamic women of different ages, experiences and backgrounds discussing and debating the most exciting social and political issues. The women will also be joined by experts and/or celebrity guests. Sip N Chat will highlight and recognize the contributions and impact of the West Indian diaspora in the various facets of life such as sports, lifestyle, business, medical entertainment and more. Sip N Chat offers a female perspective in a male dominated field.

Meet Sip N Chat House Hosts: Mikelah and Jendayi, our roving hosts Brittany and Kerry-Ann and our content producer /field Producer Jo Wheeler.

Mikelah is a Caribbean Culture expert, curating the bridge between the Caribbean and its diaspora on her blog, Style & Vibes . A CUNY Baruch College graduate with a BBA in Marketing. With previous experience with Caribbean lifestyle brands such as VP Records, Tempo TV and JAMROCK Magazine. Currently serving as a digital marketing maven by day, while continuing to collaborate with Caribbean brands.

Jendayi

Jendayi

Jendayi was born to Jamaican parents who instilled in her great pride in the culture. She studied Media Communication Arts with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism at SUNY Rockland, Culinary Arts at Star Career Academy NYC, and Cosmetology at Capri Cosmetology Learning Center in NY. The multi-talented Jendayi has worked as a host on Caribbean TV programs such as Carib Dreams TV & YMYTV, and freelanced as a makeup artist for MAC, most recently wetting her feet in the food industry; a true “Jackie” of all trades.

Brittany

Brittany

Brittany began her journey as a life coach after deciding to walk away from a corporate position as a program direct for a non profit agency after the company decided to no longer pay it’s employees. Devastated and with only $200 to her name, Brittany decided to complete the remainder of her courses needed for a master’s program, became a certified life coach and she set out to open an agency dedicated to the empowerment of women through events, coaching sessions and resources.

Kerry-Ann

Jamaican born Kerry-Ann, founder of Carry On Friends – where career, entrepreneurship and Caribbean culture intersect. Combining knowledge, expertise and experiences, she motivates people to be their best, put their best ideas to use and provide resources to assist them.

Jo Wheeler

Jo Wheeler

With a degree in Broadcast Journalism, Jo Wheeler has co-hosted programs on WKKC-89.3FM and became one of the station’s Production Coordinators. She was also the board operator for overnight programming at Chicago’s legendary WLS-AM, where she soon became Technical Producer for two popular weekend shows. Deciding to focus solely on Caribbean entertainment content, Jo Wheeler quickly found other production opportunities in Atlanta, New Orleans, New York, Paris, Amsterdam, and Trinidad and Tobago.

She is now the field correspondent for “Soca Sundays” hosted by T&T radio legend Ian D’Goose Eligon which is syndicated in New York and Trinidad, and travels the world freelancing as a Media Content Specialist for Caribbean media outlets; a Production Assistant for live music events; and as a Road/Tour Manager for Reggae and Soca bands.
