Sadiki: Artist Spotlight

Sadki Artist Spotlight

Sadiki Introduction

Billboard Magazine writer Elaine Oumano put it best when she stated that the then up and coming artist Pancho Kryztal (now known as Sadiki), “…is not the first reggae artist to alternate singing and Sadiki Artist SpotlightDJ’ing (rapping) within a single song. Nor is he the only vocalist to do his own background harmonies. But no one before has pulled off this triple threat so effectively.”

Since then, the multi-talented artist has honed his craft by adding producer, songwriter, engineer, artist manager and even music video director to his list of credits.

A True Artist

Hailing from Jamaica, he is the son of Henry Buckley – a Paragons (reggae group) founding member & Director of Music for the Jamaica Constabulary Force band. Sadiki is a true artist. His sound is an eclectic mix of R&B, Reggae, Jazz, Rocksteady, and Dancehall. “As an artist, it’s important that you give inspiration the space it needs to be creative”, said Sadiki.

“Diversity is natural – a man shall not live by bread alone”.

Discography & Production

He has released four solo albums under the name Sadiki – “Morning’s Come” (Skinny Bwoy), “Lifeline” (Skinny Bwoy/Joe Frasier), “Jah is the Only King” (Skinny Bwoy), and his latest “Covered in Love” (Skinny Bwoy). He also released his debut “Pancho Kryztal” via the Adam Schlesinger, Jeremy Freeman owned Scratchie Records. He has topped international reggae charts in the US, Japan, Africa and the UK. His fifth studio album “Blue Mountain Acoustic” is scheduled for release in June of 2018.

He has produced songs for a long list of artists including Chezidek, Lutan Fyah, George Nooks, sadiki-suit-bowtie-edit-spot_2Pam Hall and Siaosi.
